The Billionaire’s Secret by Ravina Hilliard is one-part industrial espionage, one-part family drama and two parts sizzling romance. Serena hasn’t made it where she is at work by taking favors or help from anyone, especially her estranged father. She’s proud, determined and not interested at all in romance. When a new assignment sends her to Finland to sniff out a traitor trying to steal a new piece of technology, she finds herself butting heads with the owner of the company. Mitias is head strong, determined and used to getting his way. He and Serena butt heads from the very beginning, but eventually their mutual attraction outweighs their disagreements and they find themselves falling for each other. But when he finds out the truth behind why she was sent to work for him, will he be able to move past the deception and see that she only has his best interest at heart?
A weekend away with his family brings the traitor out in the open as they make their move to steal the key card that will give them access to Mitias’ files. When Serena interrupts the robbery, a fight ensues with Serena putting both thieves in the hospital. With the key card safe for now, Serena must figure out who is the mastermind behind the operation. She leaves Mitias to return home not knowing what the future holds for them.
Ravina’s characters are passionate, full of life and I found myself rooting them on. The story line keeps you guessing and the plot and locations are well written and detailed. Ravina has done an excellent job with this story and I can’t wait to read more of her works.
